We support our clients in different areas:
At Olives AHS, we work with a diverse range of individuals and our aim is to empower our clients with the knowledge and skills they need to understand and manage their communication and/or swallowing difficulties.
Alternative & Augmentative Communication (AAC) means all of the ways that someone communicates besides talking. People of all ages can use AAC if they have trouble with speech or language skills.
At Olives AHS, we recognize that each individual has their own unique learning style and therefore, customize treatment to suit each individual. We value a holistic approach to treatment so as to maximize quality of life and participation in everyday activities.
Dysphagia is associated with a wide range of disabilities and health conditions. At Olives AHS, we assist individuals to identify and manage swallowing problems. This can help minimize the risks of serious health complications and improve a person’s mealtime-related quality of life.
Social communication is how and why we use language to interact with other people. At Olives AHS, we work with individuals by supporting their social communication skills with others in different places such as at home, at school, or at work either in a one-on-one or group setting.

At Olives AHS, we recognise that communication is the lifeline of any relationship, and we continually strive to help our clients communicate effectively in their everyday lives.
Communication difficulties can arise at any stage across the lifespan.
Our service begins with a detailed assessment of your strengths and therapy goals. A detailed assessment also allows us to identify your progress in therapy, and any supports to assist you to reach your full potential. We can provide assessment reports upon request.
At Olives AHS, we love providing regular speech therapy services to people pf all abilities using evidence-based approaches. We provide a block of intervention sessions for clients targeting a range of communication or swallowing difficulties.
At Olives AHS, each clinician is a Certified Practicing Member of Speech Pathology Australia and is committed to providing up to date and evidence based therapeutic support to the individuals and families we work with. We provide a variety of therapy approaches and programs at Olives AHS to ensure that our services are individualised, motivating and effective.
